Before the inception of Goode Cents Daily Money Management, Maureen spent 30+ years in the trenches of corporate America, working in various finance roles at major tech firms. During her time in the corporate world, she honed her skills in financial operations, budget management, large-scale project execution, systems analysis and contract negotiations. Her most recent role was with Google, where she managed their accounts receivables team of over 800 people for 7+ years.
The impetus for her career change was a personal one. After her parents experienced a significant medical event, Maureen took on the responsibility of managing their financial affairs. This firsthand experience revealed the significant need for trustworthy and compassionate financial assistance for those who may be burdened by their financial responsibilities.
Motivated by this realization and a desire to make a more personal impact, Maureen retired from her corporate role to establish Goode Cents Daily Money Management. As a daily money manager, she now utilizes her extensive corporate experience to assist clients with a wide range of financial tasks, including creating budgets, tracking spend, managing bank accounts and bills, navigating insurance claims and preparing for taxes. Her services are tailored to a diverse clientele, including seniors, busy professionals, and those undergoing life transitions such as divorce.
Maureen is a member of the American Association of Daily Money Managers (AADMM), which requires its members to undergo background checks and adhere to a strict code of ethics. This affiliation underscores her commitment to providing reliable and ethical financial guidance.
Maureen holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources from Cal State Hayward. She lives in Menlo Park, California with her husband, dog and cat. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, gardening, concert going, sometimes golf and reading a good book outside.
